what is the closest city in new jersey to new york city?

Q. I am going to new york but i am on a budget and the hotels in new jersey are way cheaper but what is the closest city in jersey to new york city?

A. Jersey City. You'll definitely be able to find cheaper hotel rooms in downtown Jersey City. Downtown Jersey City is exactly like New York..you can think of it as an extension. All you gotta do is take a
bus or train to reach New York within 10 minutes.

Even better, you'll be able to see the NYC skyline from your hotel room. NYC is right across the river.

Thinking of going to the beach for a couple days I live in New Jersey?
Q. I been to Seaside Heights I like it and love the boardwalk but I don't like the fact that I have to pay for the 3 days that I will be staying to go in the beach... I never been to Wildwood or Ocean City do you have to pay also? Can you recommend any cheap cool hotels?

A. tin oc you need a beach tag but idk about wildwood, but wildwood is kinda crappy it can get scary at night . oc is really small and boring its more of a day time place and wildwood is more night. and as for hotel prices idk because i live in ocean city but the flanders is gorgeous but it looks expensive. there are a million hotels and motels that look nice so you can find one. in oc you have to go to mac and mangos pizza, 7th street surf shop, heritage surf shop and Johnson's popcorn. if i had to pick a better beach i would deff say ocean city but wildwood has a way better boardwalk

cheap and good hotels in new jersey to visit NY.?
Q. I want to visit new york next week.i like to know the cheap and good hotels in the new jersey.want to have a budget trip to new york.please give me tips..i am having 2 kids so the the hotel should be located in a place convenient for taking bus or ferry.very new to NY so help me..
thankyou.

A. When I traveled to New York with my family, we flew into Newark. We stayed a night at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott by the airport which was actually pretty nice. We then took some sort of train thing to cross over to Manhattan. We spent the rest of our trip staying in Midtown at the Hilton New York. The train ride for the 3 of us cost about $50. I'd suggest staying in New York because for 3 people each way (NJ to NY) is going to cost about $50, so it costs just as much to stay in New York as it does to stay in Jersey, and NY is much more convenient. That's my tip! :)
